Segway Stockholm Sightseeing
Read our Segway Stockholm tour report
Finally we would like to publish a short report about our Segway Stockholm Sightseeing tour around the capital of Sweden! This report will definitely inspire you to participate in our future events!
The Knights’ Island
Riddarholmen islet (the Knights’ islet) has become our first attraction site to visit. Such significant sites like the National Archive and the old Parliament and many other were visited during our tour. Before having left the Knights’ island we made a short stop in the Western part of Riddarholmen to take some pics of the great views.
The Stockholm Palace
You will enjoy the brilliance of the Stockholm Palace in both day and night. The experienced travelers agree that it makes no difference what time you go there, this place is always perfect. This point of interest is a must-see spot for any Segway Stockholm Sightseeing traveler who is sincerely fascinated with Sweden.
The Royal Opera has a long and interesting history starting in 1872. The Opera building is considered to be a piece of the best the architecture of Sweden. People who had already visited some other countries of Europe noted that the Swedish architecture style is something totally different and thus charming. So a visit to the Opera will help you fill the gaps in your cultural background.
Even the military part of Swedish architecture is fascinating. Don’t believe us? There is no better way out than to examine it yourself then! Skeppsholmen is a place that is great not only to watch from afar but to stroll around too. That all is great and we agree, but it is much more interesting to get inside and have a tour around Skeppsholmen museums like, for example, the Museum of Modern Art.
The Royal Game Park
Would you like to discover how the Swedish royal family used to have fun? Visit the Royal Game Park and discover what the Royal family liked to do! Today the park mainly consists of both landmarks like museums and galleries as well as a cool theme park called Grona Lund. There is also a worldwide known open-air museum in Djurgarden – it is called Skansen!
