The Knights’ Island
We have started out with the island Riddarholmen which is also widely known as the Knights’ Island. We have covered the most notable buildings and places here including the old Parliament and the National Archive buildings and admired fascinating Swedish architecture. After it we went to the Western part and delighted glorious view available over there.
The Stockholm Palace
Both day and night perfectly suit for attending this attraction site. Frankly speaking, it does not mean much when exactly you go there – the effect is literally the same all the time. With no doubts, the residence of the Royal Family is a must-see site to go to with a Segway Stockholm Frihamnen tour.
The Royal Opera
The Royal Opera has a long and interesting history starting in 1872. The Opera building is considered to be another sample of the best Swedish architecture. The tourists who had already been to some other parts of Europe told that the Swedish style is absolutely different and thus so charming. If you wish to find out more about the history of Stockholm – don’t miss the Opera building!
Even the military side of Stockholm architecture is exciting. Think we are wrong? Then go and join us and check it out yourself! One thing is to look at this tiny island from afar and enjoy its neatness and beauty. And don’t forget to visit Skeppsholmen museums – if you have got too little time for it, then go at least to the Museum of Modern Art.
The Royal Game Park
Do you wish to know how the Swedish royal family had fun? Visit the Royal Game Park and see what the Swedish Royal family preferred to do! We would like to say, that the theme park Grona Lund is not the one and only interesting site there, don’t forget lots of galleries and museums and other historical attractions. The best possible solution for family fare is visiting the world most remarkable open-air museum Skansen!
