This article is dedicated to our Segway Stockholm tour as well as the places we have visited! We do hope that after having seen it you will want to join our travelers’ team!
The Island of the Knights
Our starting point and the first attraction site was what is called “the Knights’ Islet” – Riddarholmen. We have covered the most outstanding places and buildings here which includes the National Archive and the old Parliament buildings and enjoyed exciting Swedish architecture. The very last thing we made in the Knights’ Island was popping by in its western part and having some rest by admiring fantastic views.
The Residence of the Royal Family
You could highly appreciate the brilliance of the Stockholm Palace in both night and day. Frankly speaking, it doesn’t mean much when exactly you come there – the effect is totally the same all the time. With no doubts, the residence of the Royal Family is a must-see site to go to with a Segway Stockholm tour.
Everybody in Sweden knows about the Royal Opera and nearly everybody knows the year it was built – 1872. Here we have another splendid piece of Swedish architecture. It is a known thing that the Swedish architecture is different from the European. It makes a visit to the Royal Opera a fantastic chance to see what exactly people adore in Swedish architecture.
Even the military part of Swedish architecture is exciting. Don’t believe us? Then go and join us and find the answer yourself! Skeppsholmen is a magnificent place great not only from afar but to stroll around as well. And remember – you should go to Skeppsholmen museums – if you have got no time for it, then go at least to the Museum of Modern Art.
The Royal Game Park
Are you eager to learn about how the Royal family goofed around? Then take part in our tours and discover Djurgarden with us! Nowadays the park includes both landmarks like museums and galleries as well as a fantastic amusement park called Grona Lund. There is also a great open-air museum over there – it is called Skansen!
