The Knights’ Islet
We have firstly visited the island Riddarholmen also widely known as the Knights’ Island. We have covered the most remarkable buildings and places here including the old Parliament and the National Archive buildings and admired fascinating local architecture. The very last thing that we made in the Knights’ Island was stopping in its western part and having awesome rest by admiring magnificent views.
The Stockholm Palace
You will enjoy the brilliance of the Stockholm Palace in both night and day. The experienced tourists agree that it makes no difference which time you go there, it’s always perfect. This place is a must-see spot for any Segway Stockholm Hagaparken tourist who is sincerely fascinated with Sweden.
Since the year 1872 the Royal Opera has been considered a significant place for Stockholm and whole Sweden. The Opera building is considered to be a part of the best style of the local architecture. It is a known thing that the Swedish architecture is different from the European. If you want to learn more about the history of Stockholm – please go to the Opera building!
Everything in Swedish architecture is fine as well as the military buildings. Have any doubts? There is nothing better than to see it yourself then! One thing is to observe this small island from far off and enjoy its beauty. That is nice and we agree, but we suppose it is more interesting to get inside and take a tour around the museums of Skeppsholmen like, for example, the Museum of Modern Art.
The Royal Game Park
Do you wish to discover how the Swedish royal family had fun? Then sign up for our tours and explore Djurgarden! Nowadays this park consists of both landmarks like museums and galleries as well as a cool amusement park called Grona Lund. The best solution for family fare will be visiting the greatest open-air museum Skansen!
