Check our Segway tour report around Stockholm
Finally we are ready to present a report about our Segway Stockholm tour around the capital of Sweden! Check it out and join us next time – believe us, you will not regret!
The Knights’ Islet
Our starting point and, actually, the first destination was so called “the Knights’ Islet” – the island Riddarholmen. We have seen the most notable places and buildings here including the old Parliament and the National Archive buildings and enjoyed fascinating local architecture. Then we went to the Western part and feasted our eyes with breathtaking sceneries available over there.
The Royal Residence
The Stockholm Palace is beautiful in both day and night. It really does not matter that much when you get there – the effect is totally the same all the time. Without a doubt, the residence of the Royal Family is a great site to visit it during a Segway Stockholm tour.
The Royal Opera building has a very long history lasting from the year 1872. It is another magnificent example of Swedish architecture. People who had already visited some other European countries noted that Swedish style is absolutely different and thus charming. If you are going to learn more about Stockholm history – don’t miss the Opera building!
Swedish architecture is beautiful even when it comes to military buildings. Don’t believe us? Then join our Segway Stockholm tour and see who is right! One thing is to see this small island from afar and enjoy its neatness and beauty. That is cool and we agree, however it is much more interesting to plunge inside and take a tour around Skeppsholmen museums like, let’s say, the Museum of Modern Art.
The Royal Game Park
Would you like to know how a royal family used to have fun? Then join our tours and discover Djurgarden! Nowadays it consists of both historical buildings like galleries and museums and of fantastic amusement park called Grona Lund. Moreover, here you can enjoy the exhibition of the open-air museum Skansen!
