Read our Segway Stockholm tour report

This report is about our Segway Stockholm Söder tour as well as the attractions we have visited! We hope that after having checked it you will wish to join our travelers’ team!

The Knights’ Island

Our starting place and, actually, the first attraction site was what is called “the Knights’ Islet” – the island Riddarholmen. Such significant buildings like the National Archive and the old Parliament as well as a lot of other were visited during our tour. The very last thing that we made in the Knights’ Islet was stopping in its western part and having good rest by admiring magnificent views.
The Royal Residence
One could appreciate the blaze of the Stockholm Palace in both day and night. According to the opinion of both locals and tourists the Palace is outstanding at any time and in absolutely weather. This place is a must-see one for a Segway Stockholm tourist who is deeply fascinated with Sweden.
The Royal Opera
Everyone in Sweden knows something about the Royal Opera and nearly everybody perfectly knows the year it was built – 1872. The Opera building is acknowledged to be a piece of the best Swedish architecture. The tourists who had already been to some other parts of Europe stated that the Swedish style is absolutely different and thus so attractive. It means that a visit to the Opera will help you fill the gaps in your cultural background.
Skeppsholmen
Stockholm architecture is splendid even when we are talking about military buildings. Don’t believe us? Then participate in our Segway Stockholm  Söder tour and see yourself who is right! Skeppsholmen is a place which is great not only from distance but to stroll around too. That is cool and we agree with it, however it is more interesting to get inside and have a tour around Skeppsholmen museums like, let’s say, the Museum of Modern Art.
The Royal Game Park
Are you eager to know about how the Royal family amused itself? Come to the Royal Game Park and see what the Swedish Royal family preferred to do! Nowadays the park consists of both landmarks like galleries and museums as well as a fantastic amusement park Grona Lund. More than that, here you can visit and enjoy the exhibition of the open-air museum Skansen!
