The Knights’ Island

Riddarholmen island (the Knights’ islet) was our first attraction to visit. We have seen the most outstanding buildings and places here including the old Parliament and the National Archive buildings and admired exciting Swedish architecture. Before leaving the Knights’ island we made a short stop in Western Riddarholmen to take pictures of the breathtaking views.
The Stockholm Palace
The Stockholm Palace is beautiful in both night and day. In accordance with the point of view of both tourists and locals the Palace is outstanding in any time and in absolutely weather. This attraction is a must-see one for a Segway Stockholm tourist who is truly fascinated with Sweden.
The Opera
Since 1872 the Royal Opera has been a remarkable part of both Stockholm and Sweden. It is another magnificent example of local architecture. It is a known thing that the Swedish architecture is unlike to the European. It means that a visit to the Royal Opera will help you expand your cultural knowledge.
Skeppsholmen
Even the military side of Stockholm architecture is great. Have any doubts? Then go and join our Segway Stockholm team and check it out yourself! Skeppsholmen is a magnificent place which is great not only to watch from afar but to walk around too. And don’t forget to check Skeppsholmen museums – if there is too little time for that, then go at least to the Museum of Modern Art.
The Royal Game Park
Do you want to know how the Swedish royal family entertained itself? Enjoy the Royal Game Park and find out what the Royal family preferred to do! We would like to say, that the entertainment park Grona Lund is not the only interesting site there, don’t forget lots of museums and galleries and other historical sites. More than that, you can visit the exhibition of the open-air museum Skansen!
